Chairperson

Cary Rossel, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Glazer's Wholesale Distributors, was named Chairman of the Board of The Legacy Senior Communities, Inc. at the organization's annual board meeting held in November. The Legacy Senior Communities, Inc., is the parent organization of The Legacy at Willow Bend, which will be opening in Plano during the spring of 2008, and the Veranda Preston Hollow located just south of Forest Lane.

Rossel is an active and visionary member of various North Dallas and Jewish organizations. He was recently elected as Vice-Chairperson of the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation's Board of Trustees, and Rossel was named "Producer of the Year" for his ardent support of the foundation. As a top executive at Glazer's Wholesale Distributors, he has also been involved in various other civic and industry organizations.

Rossel has been an advocate for the Dallas Home for the Jewish Aged for more than 15 years as well as holding numerous board positions. He has also enjoyed many years of involvement with The Friends of Golden Acres. Rossel and his family are active supporters of the Special Olympics and had been honored as the Texas Special Olympic Family of the Year. Rossel taught Sunday school for more than 25 years at Temple Emanu-El.
